Just as in humans, the quality of sleep has a direct effect on the behaviour of the animal.
This is primarily about the recovery effect during a “good” sleep. A better recovery effect automatically means more energy for the tasks of the day, greater resilience, reduced susceptibility to stress and better concentration – often also with positive effects on general health.
