Neck section

The neck section may be combined with the two warmer ‘COMFORT PLUS WHS1 and MHS1‘ blanket types. These possess the matching (covered) ‘Velcro’ counterpart to secure the neck section.

It doesn’t possess additional lining, it only comes with a smooth inner lining material to prevent excessive chafing. So it doesn’t have an additional thermal fleece. The Velcro fasteners sewn on to both sides are for securing the neck section. It has been designed to overlap so that the water from rain or snow can’t run into the blanket’s neck section or under the blanket and so the horse will remain dry. The neck section possesses two buckles for securing it at the lower part of the neck – these are adjustable in the width of the neck to an extent. The front part of the neck section, that’s on top in the area of the mane, comes with a soft faux fur edge that is intended to prevent excessive chafing between the mane and edge of the neck section as far as possible.
